A Rackmount Server is a PC system that is intended to run independently of any user interaction, generally over a network.

The Eltech Rackmount Servers are usually in a 1U high case, which is 19" Rackmountable, and offer a variety of processing options depending on the power needed to run the user's application software.

Apart from selecting the processing power required users can also choose the amount of memory they need, hard disk size and number and speed of Ethernet Ports.

A further option that can be specified is the presence of a Digital Display on the front panel to indicate system status. Customers can order the basic system and add additional components or they can specify the configuration required and have the unit delivered completely configured 'ready to run' including pre-loaded operating system (Windows, Linux, etc..).
